This Artist Creates Mind-Bending Illusions Using Painted Bodies

You might be familiar with some amazing work by makeup artists in the realm of fashion and film, but Dain Yoon, a visual artist, takes makeup to another level using not just cosmetic products, but body paint as well. As you’ll see in the pictures, she uses her talents to create mind-bending illusions that are at once both beautiful and confusing. It’s clear that people are enjoying the offbeat way in which she incorporates her skills, because her Instagram account currently has 39,000 followers and continues to grow. The 22-year-old is a student at the Korean National University of Arts, but it’s a safe bet we know what she’ll be doing after she graduates. See her amazing, trippy work in the following gallery.
